Made my first knife from 01 tool steel and Ebony. What do y'all think?

Fine job! Did you heat treat the O1? Very curious as to how well it holds up in service use.

I did heat treat it and quenched in vegetable oil. Two 1 hour temper cycles at 350.

It's shaving hairs right now. Lol and I already cut myself on it. Gotta make a sheath next.

No parts kit. Just a piece of 3/8" 01 bar stock and a small block of Ebony. The pins were a 1/8" mild steel rod that I cut down and peened in with the epoxy. Most of the shaping was done with hand files.
