My best friend passed away today.

Just sharing another picture. He traveled everywhere with us. Across the United States and was with us on our vacations to various coastal towns and cabins. I'd like to think he got to experience more than most dogs and I just hope his time with us was fulfilling.

So sorry to hear. I just went through the same thing back in March. Lost my “Ricky” after 16 years. Leaves a big ole void in your heart/life. Time will heal.

I honestly don't know how to process the emotions right now. Boston was my buddy. He grew old as my son grew up. Always gentle but ready to protect us at the slightest sign of something being off. I don't know why I'm writing this here. Feels good to remember him and share what an irreplaceable part of our family he was.
