Might want to watch this American Derringer Alaskan survival in 45/70 break this guys hand before you destroy yours.
All I can say is Aint no way I'd drop the hammer on that thing. If you do, video is a must.

Well, no **** the guy broke his hand. Did you see him flinch twice before finally getting it to go off? He had that thing gripped like a 13 year old gripping his pecker.

If there is one thing that I have learned by shooting big bore handguns it is that you need to be gentle with them. Only grip them hard enough to not lose them when it goes off and roll with the recoil, don't try to "control" it.

I'll respond that there just aint no right way to shoot some insanely large bore midget guns without risking injury. A 45/70 much less a 10Ga in a Contender or BFR is a lot different than a palm piece.


PS: OP I see a skull and crossbones hand tattoo in your future.

That thing is awesome. I don't mean like hey this hot dog is awesome, awesome. I mean like holy crap I am full of awe awesome.
