Free bump for same info. How's the reliability and maintenance?
Can't speak for the newer ones but my daughter has one of the older ones with the supercharger. Runs like a scalded dog and very reliable. She is lucky enough to have a service center close who does her regular scheduled maintenance.
We’ll mine is a 2010 S model. I’d sold my sportrac to get this. Lots better on gas than the truck and it’s like driving a go cart with air conditioning.
I have a 2012 Cooper S with 195,000 miles.
Also have a 2011 Cooper non-S with 85,000 miles.
The Turbo blows the non turbo out of the water.
Reliability seems to be fine as long as you keep an eagle eye on your oil level. Both seem to burn oil rather quickly.

If you are not patient or mechanically inclined, don’t bother with it.
It’s hilariously fun, but annoying to work on.
I have one specifically for track use, so I see accelerated(by choice) maintenance cycles and what will and won’t give out.
