The point is, there are different markets... The person that just like a cool looking OTF, isn't gonna spend $300 on a MT. They are gonna buy a Vespa or a Vipertech or whatever, because to them it's a gadget.

The person that appreciates quality and sees it as a vital tool, is gonna pony up for the MT or Hogue...

Others like me, appreciate both markets and in my case, the knock-off was the gateway drug into me dropping thousands on MT's, Hogues, Heretics, etc...

Nah, I buy mostly because I want what I want. I buy seafoam yetis because they’re cool af. Same with Microtech. No one wants a vesper or vipertech, what kind of poor **** is that? Nothing cool about something called vesper lol.

I am a fan of KNIVES. Many brands. I like Microtech... I have two new Ultratechs and a Socom Elite... I will be buying my wife a UTX85 soon... I also have Heretics and other name brands, quality stuff...

However, I also like a good deal. Not that a Vespa is "cheap"... they are still $140-$220... so they cost as much as a Spyderco and many Benchmades... But a $150 Combat Troodon copy is more appealing to me than a $500 Microtech version.

We have some YETI's.. We bought them so that we could get the stickers to put on the back window of our trucks, so that we can let everyone KNOW that we have a Yeti. I mean, that's the whole point, right?
