I have always envied folks with the skill and patience to complete projects like this.....enjoyed this thread immensely. Now if you nail a deer on the first outing the karma will be strong with this one.

I think the new owner is planning to pick it up and hunt with it before the beginning of next week. He has designs on stalking the thick brush along the NC / VA lines. Should make for a light quick rifle for that best kind of hunting, up close and fast in tangled bush!
