Have any tips or tricks?

This is what is bouncing around in my head.

Realistic. - I know my 4 TE and 2.5 MW Springfield ain't gonna shoot lights out @ a National Natch and win.

Bore - Super clean.

Ammo - Buy decent shoot-able stuff. PPU, Federal, Hornady , HXP, CMP Stuff.

Sling - Learn to use it.

Dial in the sights. - DONE. Out to 200.

Practice, Practice, Practice,.....

Anyone else got anything...

BRASS

Breath
Release (the breath)
Aim
Stop (breathing)
Squeeze

And get a good natural point of aim, don't muscle the rifle.
Look down the sights and get on the target.
Close your eyes and take a breath.
Open your eyes, if you're not on the bullseye move your body, not the rifle.
Continue until you're on the bullseye when you open your eyes.
Natural point of aim is the difference between shooting a small rapid fire group or a large one.

If your going to shoot store bought Ammo I hope you have an adjustable Gas Plug, or you'll bend/ break your OP Rod. And watch out for that GARAND THUMB! It usually only takes once. Nothing like the Piiiiiiiiiiing!!!

Check the gas lug splines for play.

The lug should not wobble a bunch. Means the splines are too big. If it wobbles, the geometry of the area the gas piston works with will vary, with accuracy consequences as the volume and pressure of gas will vary too.
