Black with gold striping was a Warlock. They are even harder to find. That IS cool. My father had the black and gold pinstriped 1978 version with the 360and automatic. Good truck but it took half the morning to get cranked up in the winter time.
always loved the over the top look of these trucks...cool appreciate ya sharing and great looking truck! My dad bought this 1979 Dodge Lil Red brand new in 1979. I rode home from the dealership in it when I was 7. The truck was stolen in 1988 from a Dominos Pizza were my brother worked in high school. The truck was almost totally destroyed. We recovered a week later and it's been a really slow resto for dads once he is semi-retired. It's been sitting in his garage from 1988 until about late 2012. The original 360 was pulled out with 120k original miles and replaced by a '69 440 .30 over with a 584 lift cam. It's sounds great and looks great. We have been working on it for the last couple of years or so. Just wanted to share with y'all.

As soon as the brakes get done and the trans pan leak is fixed. Dad has been working out of town. We should be up there soon.bring that out to Riverstone Canton Ga( Poboys Cruisers) on the 15th Saturday would love to see it and take some pics
Dad's truck never had them. That was a dealer option I believe.Where are the sideboards? My Dad's buddy bought one of these brand new and it came with sideboards from the factory. He hated it from the day he bought it new to the day he died in 2014... with it still parked in that special corner in the barn reserved for that "good for nuthin' Dodge"!
R.I.P old buddy Burt!
