I have posted "survey" type questions regarding prices for attending gun shows in other states on RFC....Rimfire Central. The consensus is that our shows are a bit more expensive than the norm, but not as expensive as others. There are still $5 gun shows around the country, but there are others that are $15 plus $5 or $10 to park.
I have gotten some decent deals at gun shows, primarily on ammo; but have bought a few guns too, and sold/traded a couple too.
You can still go and buy a firearm at a show in GA and not have any "cooling off" wait or other unconstitutional crap in Georgia. It could be far worse.
