After a lot of debate (with myself), I decided to paint my AR-15. I looked up a few methods and found that the "sponge method" works well. What do you guys think? Did I do my $$$ rifle good with $20 worth of spray paint?

I typically dont paint guns... but the blue was killing me inside

I guess you'd call it painted, I used Wheelers Ceramacoat from MidwayUSA. Ya spray it on and then bake it in the oven.

do-it-yourself paint jobs are a touchy subject for many. glad to see other Georgian's aren't afraid to get their hands dirty.

jbum, is that a minerallac strap holding your flashlight in place? being an electrician myself, i gotta give you props for creativity
