Just bought a new LCP II
when I dry fire, I leave my trigger finger pulled all the way to the rear. With my finger pulled back, I can not rack the slide. I have to release my trigger finger (just a tiny bit) in order for the slide to “unlock” and allow me to rack again.
I have noticed that as I keep dry firing and racking, it is getting easier to rack. (I have to release my finger less and less)
I have had probably 5 or 6 LCP IIs in my lifetime and I do not remember having this issue (all used).
is this normal for a new one?
