Laptop wont' fire up! HELP!!!!!

Motherboard is fried...bought her a new laptop, it's an ASUS, wish me luck. Anyone have any idea what to do with this laptop now?

get the gold out of it ,, lol,,then use it for target practice

Take the hard drive out of it. Not sure what type of info you have on there but better safe then sorry. Toss the rest or use it for target practice.

I thought the manufacturer warranty is one year for most computers and 30 day with Best Buys. You should take it back for a new one.

I just bought a laptop this weekend...and I too bought an ASUS. I love mine...N53S model. Hope it lasts as long as my last laptop (astounding 8 years).

Get a 2.5 inch hard drive enclosure, pull the hard drive and insert. You will be able to retrieve your files. Sell the remains on ebay or craigslist, there is a market for the screen.

This...is exactly what I did with my HDD from the old laptop. If you can't get enough power to it, I can tell you which parts to buy at MicroCenter...or just come over and borrow my transfer rig.
