Just Threaded My First Barrel

Looks good. You may or may not want to take a skim cut on your crown too after having your center take a ride on it.
I inspected the crown very closely after I was done. The center tool actually rotates at the same speed as the barrel, so there is no friction or rubbing on the barrel. Thanks for the tip.

Well, I did it again. This time I threaded an old Remington 572 barrel just for fun. It came out really good I think.

How long are the threads? AR spec is .6 while 22lr cans run .4-.45
Well done.. Another "Ruined" vintage Remington 572.. LOL I was able to play with one just like it over the weekend with a "Sparrow" and quiets.. Unbelievable..Well, I did it again. This time I threaded an old Remington 572 barrel just for fun. It came out really good I think.

I made mine .5000 because I wanted to match the thread protector I already had. I made some 5/8-24 threads the other day on an adapter, and I made those just a little over .750.
