Just Threaded My First Barrel

Threaded a 10/22 barrel today. It came out exactly like I had hoped it would. Threaded in 1/2-28 thread, single-point thread process.

It was a blast to do. Only took 5 passes to get the threads perfect. I practiced on a piece of steel first and I'm glad I did. The stainless barrel threaded a little different than the steel.

Picture shows the centered-up barrel and then the finished product. I picture a "store-bought" thread adapter for comparison.

Nice! I've turned threads on a lathe before. Had to clean them up afterward with a die. Lol! Need more practice...
