Magazine or clip...doesnt bother me either way. I call em magazines, but know what you mean when you say clip. Quick funny story, might have told it before...

My son in law was going through boot camp. Range day comes, and the instructor keeps telling the guys to remove the clips from the gun or insert the clip into the gun etc. One of the guys raises his hand and tell the instructor, "its a magazine, not a clip". The instructor answers back, "No sir, a magazine is what I read when I take a $%!+, these are clips"

I think at this point, everyone knows what someone is talking about when they say clip.
