That's a pretty rare recording -- very cool. I thought what he said regarding the whole reason for the war was most interesting. Not about keeping or expanding slavery at all, but more about state's rights. But for him as a young soldier, he never thought about any of that at the time.

The man was alive during the Great War as well. the viewpoint of that event would be interesting.
