Internal fuel injector leak

Ive never seen this but I havent seen it all either. 6 of 8 are wet with fuel inside the terminal. This is after 102k miles on a Ford 4.6 2v... Just finished reassembly after a timing set and oh lets R&R some injectors too while we’re at it . Think I’ll monitor them for now and see if I can wait until my intake cracks LOL.

Are you sure it is fuel?

Maybe some dialectic grease to keep the terminals sealed?

That was my first thought until I did the sniff test. Brown on my finger like varnished old fuel and smelled like fuel. I havent ever seen dielectric on injectors from the factory either.

Clean it and see if it comes back! Looks like grease to me!
