Tonight, I noted to someone it was silly to complain about his wife being upset when she caught him looking at something in Brackish Waters. He insisted that "it shouldn't have been posted" there for her to see. He didn't seem to understand the concept of having to apply for admittance to the forum, to view items as such. During our "discussion" I noted to him that he had almost 4000 posts, and "ONE" posted feedback; that he was a "talker, and not a walker". It got me thinking; I thought this site was for trading and/or selling firearms, parts, accessories, outdoor related hardware items, and other related items, and also including discussion of items related thereof. I don't have a problem with the site's content, but what surprises me is, after a little recon, that there are a LOT of members here who obviously are not interested in friendly trade and/or commerce. I noted another member with almost 27,000 posts, and 20 deals. The more members I checked out, the more surprised I became. Just curious. While I do enjoy a limited amount of distraction, my primary purpose for being a member, and supporting the site, is for commerce; finding and buying items I want and/or need, and selling those I don't have use for anymore. I'm not complaining, I'm just curious about others individual motives for being a member here.
