Wow... thats crazy... I have put over 250 rounds through mine... S&B, Winchester White Box, Monarch, Atlanta Arms, and Hornady Critical Defense... I havent had one issue yet.

Well like the gen 4 glock it seems they have to work out the kinks. That's why I tend to let the issues get worked out before a buy a gun that just hit the market.

Not a chance. That said I love my XDs, can't stand a Glock. Each to his own, variety and all that stuff.

I own both(XDs and Glock but not a 42). With That being said, there was a lot of hate on Springfield for correcting a problem before it ever really happened on the xds's. It doesn't look like Glock wants to do the same thing with a problem that does already exist.

Don't own one. I once had a DB380 which was very similar to the Glock42, It was OK but, It did not like Flat Nose Rounds at all. I held a 42 and it does feel nice in the hand for it's size but, I just have a hard time with the .380 round becuase I have tried it on 5 different brands and all seem the same.
