I have not given up on 1911s ...... just more of a ''do I need it'' thing .... AR rifles the same way ....

I have gone over to the AK an the Glock for ''go to'' gunz I guess ....

X what are we up to on DA/SA now? First shot/Follow up should all be the same. Either SAO or DAO. Just my 2 cents worth. That and I just can't get excited about a wheel gun.

There really isn't any type I'd say I ever gave up on.. But my least favorite is DAO (this doesn't include striker-fired)

I don't think I've given up on any. I think my preferences are based on what I look for in a carry gun but I don't own any "toy" guns. All mine guns (shotgun and rifle included) have a purpose.

But I like 1911s, I'd like to own a revolver, I carry a Glock. I also like DA/SA Bersa's. I hope to own 1 or more of each.

I love the double action single action. I don't mind striker fired weapons or single actions. I HATE double action onlys.

I love double action single action because the first pull helps to really focus. After shooting sa/da for a while your muscle memory kicks in.

DAO Revolvers...have tried a few, can't shoot any of 'em decently. Can shoot regular revolvers DA with no issues. Strange but true.
