1:7=+$100. Unfortunately, there isn't a "sport" with 1:7 upgrade available for $739 at the moment.
This. You'll either have to build it or not have 1:7 in your 700 dollar budget.
IMHO... 55gr-62gr won't matter anyway. Get a 1:7 barrel later.

My LWRC has a 1/7 spiral fluted barrel. Just a thought.
I hate to stir the pot here ...but 1/9 is not a bad twist rate for an AR. I can dump a mag as fast as I can pull the trigger and never leave a 4 inch circle at 25 yards. I can plink slowly through a scope at 100 yards and keep them within an inch and that's cruddy old steel tula ammo. What exactly do you want it to do? Snipe fly wings off at 1000 yards? Good luck, the wind will be taking your little .223 bullet over to the next county anyway and the fly will fly away unscathed. I think a lot of folks get all giddy over 1/7 twist rate because others rave about it being a big selling point ...and I'm sure it is for a scant few applications/ammo choices...but for the majority of what most people do with an AR, 1/9 is awesome and 1/7 won't make enough differences in where your holes appear on your targets for you to even be able to notice.
