About a marijuana grower from Georgia pulling up stakes to head to "Toke-lahoma" which has few restrictions on the business.

"“Turns out rednecks love to smoke weed,” Baker laughs. “That’s the thing about cannabis: It really bridges socio-economic gaps. The only other thing that does it is handguns. All types of people are into firearms. All types of people are into cannabis.”"

You smokey ,we take u guns away
Lots of gun owners in CO, Lots of people that enjoy legal weed too.....I'm sure there is more overlap than people realize.

The public excitement over recently legalized weed is always really high (no pun intended) at first....but it tapers off once people realize that half of the thrill of smoking it was the danger of getting caught or the act of quiet rebellion against "the Man". Take that away and for most the thrill is pretty much gone. Then the novelty wears off once it becomes readily available at the local dispensary on the corner....pretty soon it's no different than having a beer....

One thing is certain......the more people grow and make a profit, the more government will want to tax and regulate it. Oklahoma's laws will be changing in the next few years and the growers will move on to the next open market.
