In this current meltdown, gold has been the safehaven, although it's not moving with inflation, so it's still a hit.

As far as Bitcoin: I get the appeal, but it's so speculative, there is no rational way to value it. When it replaces traditional currency, that will be a different scenario. Until then, it's a tulip.
