Help with my AR-15

If you are getting feeding but not resetting the trigger it sounds like you have a gas/buffer issue.

Put one round in the mag and shoot it. If it doesn't lock back on the empty mag you have a gas issue and should check the gas block alignment first.

If you read some of their reviews on their 7.62x39 uppers, you will quickly realize that their firing pins are 💩
If you're going to keep it (I don't know why you would) switch out the firing pin for this

And while you're at it, get the extra power hammer spring

Personally I'd send that **** back to BCA and use it as a lesson learned. It's junk. All of it.

Here's some firsthand experience with their "quality"

My best guess, without seeing it in person:

1. an issue with your FCG

or

2. out of spec bolt carrier, specifically the portion that cocks the hammer

or

3. hammer and/or trigger pin holes improperly located in the lower receiver, causing the parts of the FCG to be out of alignment with each other

OP is saying that the hammer is not cocking when cycling under live fire, not that it won’t fire.

AR’s have a free floating firing pin. A slight dent in the primer of a chambered, unfired round is normal.
