HELP! Why will my brass not stay shiny????

People seem to be more concerned with the ammo's appearance now?

I imagine several of the older guys remember the days before,... when we lubed them, loaded them, and shot them as they were?

I reckon I like mine relatively clean, but shiny ain't something I strive for.

AND I can't say that "pretty" make theM shoot any better .... or more accurately!!!
Heck, look at the factory ammo that you buy "off-the-shelf" ... even it has
"lost its shine" and yet (usually) performs as it is supposed to do!

Shiny cases make it easier to find when you shoot in the grass. That is about the extent of why I would worry about shiny cases.

I fondle my brass quite a bit and it tends to stay shiny. My hands get pretty dirty so maybe a silver service polishing cloth would be better but the key to happy and shinny brass is to fondle it often.
