That's the one I own, 20" barrel. 100 yards, 1.5" 3-shot group with Golden Tiger FMJBT. 2" groups wiith Ulyanovsk-made Wolf Classic FMJ-HP.
I have shot civilian and military versions, in 7.62x39, 5.45x39 and 7.62x54R
AKM, RPK-74, AK-74, and PK.

Shoddy, sloppily made parts guns in US is what gave AKs it reputation.

Nope, Vepr. Thicker receiver and barrel. I was always more accurate with RPK-74 on semi-auto than AK-74 on semi-auto.
