An official briefed on the investigation tells The Associated Press that a wallet with a California driver's license with the name Christopher Dorner has been found in the rubble of a cabin.

Two wallets. Is this common among police? I realize the earlier find just says photo ID(which could be military, or something else) it just seemed a little odd.

Amazing how this guy, who did do something wrong, shooting other officers, thats bad has a million dollar bounty on his head, and wont make it to court. To even explain himself......And problably used at least 1 million in resources to catch this guy....WTF

Correction: An earlier version of this story erroneously reported that a badge found in San Diego was that of Dorner's. Police discovered a photo ID belonging to Dorner and an LAPD badge that's authenticity and original owner were unclear. This story has been updated.

San bernadino cops and LAPD are not going to release an official statement saying he is dead until they identify the remains by DNA or dental records and have a 100% match, they review the public scanner chatter, and everyone can get their stories straight.

A lot of police carry one flip open "wallet" with a badge and Department ID card and another wallet that has their cash, Dr Lic, credit cards, etc.
