I still have mine. It makes it quicker and easier to buy a firearm from an FFL, and it provides that little bit of "he was trying to stay legal" if I'm stopped out of state. I was, and am, a big fan of constitutional carry. I don't think anyone should be required to have a permit, and freedom has increased a bit in Georgia since 'constitutional carry' is now a thing. Should you choose to have one for convenience, then it's your choice. I recognize we are in a police state and will pay a few dollars to try to remain out of jail, no matter how much I dislike the system.

You may call me a statist if you'd like. I also pay property taxes, pay state and local income taxes, have a driver's license, and carry automobile insurance, as required by law. There is currently no active revolution, and I do not want to be Crispus Attucks.

If you call me a statist, yet also pay any of the aforementioned taxes, then you are a hypocrite.
