Got it put together, now time to troubleshoot (7.62x39 AR)

If you have a can, put it on and try shooting it. I had a 223 with bad gas block that would only cycle with a can on it. Sure enough, gas block was drilled incorrectly and the extra dwell time keep the system pressurized long enough to cycle everything. Rule out one thing at a time until you find the issue. When you change out the extractor springs/o ring, check out the rest of the bolt while you are in there and make sure everything functions as it should. Keep us updated to what you find and you should get plenty of suggestions on getting it running correctly. One last thing, make sure to use brass cased ammo just in case the chamber is rough for the first few rounds. After you get it running, shoot what you want and don't worry.
