Got a new helper at work a couple weeks ago

Strangest thing, I have flown in a C130 with the door open and in a Chinook with the back open but, I don't think I could climb a pole like that high. What a job. I guess somebody has to do it.

I agree 100% with this logic. Something about the slow high up that gets me. I hate the climb on a roller coaster even. If you put me jumping out of a plane, or on some sort of device that I can move at a high rate of speed to elevation, that is fine.

How does one get over the fear of Acrophobia? Lol
Heights has never bothered me. I have been doing tower work for about 16 years. Broke my hip in 2001 and the Dr. told me I'd never climb again. It took me about 6 months to prove him wrong. The pay ain't that bad either so I guess I'll keep doing it.
