Google Maps is an evil experiment in control?

Sorry, for some reason i don't trust input from drivers lol. Call me paranoid...
Besides driver inputs, google maps, and probably all the others are using the GPS data for every driver who's using their product at the time. Hence it knows how bad the daily I-85 delay is by how slow everyone is moving.
I’ve been doing seasonal support deliveries for UPS for about a month out of my personal vehicle. I’m up in the mountains every day. I have the advantage of having been a FedEx courier for 10 years and in the same areas, but there are places up in the hills that can be very hard to find. I have been using Google maps for a long time and just recently figured out that I can download the offline maps to my phone so when cell signal craps out at 7pm and it’s dark and you can hear the banjo music playing, there is still navigation to get you the hell away from these places. It’s been very helpful.

I was driving this on the highway following my wife lol she followed the gps got off the highway took me through Nashville city I was like &^(*& are you doing there were cones set out for a game that got squashed peeps were waving what a trip.
I’m sorry but if there is a time where there is no more gps, I will just stick to my neighborhood I guess. I’d be lost anywhere else lol.
