Good 20’er

So I have a 2002 Chevy Suburban with about 265,000 miles.
Been a dream truck with very little maintenance required, only normal stuff.
But it has had the clear coat “cancer” prevalent to these years and had become quite ugly.
Wanted it painted but a professional paint job just wasn’t reasonable for a $5-6k vehicle, so I decided to dust off my painting “ “skills” (not much) I hadn’t used in decades, and rarely at that. Came out pretty good, although I should have left off the last coat and got a few hazy spots. But for a cheap ass bastard I think it came out pretty good.

Were you able to paint in a booth, garage or did you chance some good weather and get it done outside?

Little better than that. LOL

Got a few screw ups, really figured it would be worse... outside painting ( didn’t want the overspray on the bikes), cold air, and all, but for the money and Lack of talent I think I’ll be satisfied.
Forgot how to adjust the gun and came real close to being trash, thank God I got that figured out.

Well dang, Ken. For an outside job in the cold weather that came out pretty dang good. Better than most inside the garage.
