I am bored and decided to do a g19 build.

I have the:
SCT/Strike80 frame (4473'd)and a
Strike Industries slide incoming.

Price and looks factored into my choices...not really a Gucci build but I am looking for input on internal parts.

I don't want a two pound trigger...just a smooth trigger pull that isn't too spongy.

And that leads me to slide and frame internals.
Smooth functional parts.

Barrel?
Recoil spring kit?
Extractor?
Extended Mag & Slide release?

What have been some of your favorite upgrades?

This is not a low budget build by any means but if I spend $$$$ I expect it to out perform the competitors by a large margin.

For what it is worth I do have some Shadow Systems pistols and like them.

Ok...shot a warmed over Glock with Np3 internals and Overwatch trigger.

Not bad...not bad at all.
4# to 4-1/2# with smooth pull and very noticeable reset.

Still researching.

I've heard of a lot of reliability issues with the Overwatch triggers. Mainly coming out of the uspsa world.

Whatever you get i highly recommend purchasing only Glock OEM internal slide and frame parts. I have had numerous instances whereby some non oem part from various sources other tan Glock were the cause of my issue especially the disconnector.

The Glock I shot had the factory trigger bar, OP trigger shoe and the other parts were OP Np3 stuff.

I have polished Glock internals back in the day...this had a lot smoother pull with almost the same take up as oem...just smoother and nice break and reset.

Not Canik trigger by any means though....lol

I have temporarily put this on hold.

I did get a chance to handle the PSA Dagger frames and it fits the hand way better than a Glock frame.

At this point my honest advice to anyone doing a build to try and save money is don't

Just buy a Canik or a PSA Dagger.

Me...I just love to tinker a bit.
