So, I bought that older International(mannlicher) as a practice mule for this one….Owner is a good friend, and to be honest, I am scared to death I might **** this one up…I did all the prep today, and it’s a magnificent piece of walnut, but it’s heavy relief checkered, and I have no idea how the burn would react to the checkering…So, owner and I decided to stay out of the checkered areas if at all possible…We shall see…

After further research on the subject that's a hard pass. I don't do high voltage! Might as well strap yourself to an electric chair.
I love those mannlicher stocks. CZ makes some rifles with those and I would love one in 6.5 creed.
Somehow, the name Man-Licker is just a turnoff.
