Grandma Ruby got me hooked on cheese at a young age. Government Cheese. It's was good. Do they still send that out?

If you are into Cheddar then Wensleydale Hawes and Barber's Vintage 1833 are a couple of fine examples from Yorkshire and Somerset, England respectively - good for both snacking and cooking. Try the W&H in a Cheese & Onion pie and you will need to set your scales back 10 lbs. Both are available at Whole Foods.
