To all the economists in here: Did we get the prices sky rocking as it is today because of inflation or because of the dollar devaluation? :boink::noidea::confused2::confused2::confused2::confused2:
Both. Prices keep going up and the dollar buying power keeps going down but they keep on printing it and giving it away.

$1.45 (min wage in 1970) is equal to about $11 today. You cannot buy a decent lunch today for $11 but it looks like you could use 3/4 hour's wages in 1970 to buy a decent lunch.
