Since you said its an '03 Suburban I am assuming it has the LS style motor with a coil on every cylinder. Cracked insulation/wires on any one of those coils could be the problem.

Yes the LS model. I'll check the wires, all wires are original with 195,xxx miles

It's the bungle insoluter on the wobble pumps kanudle valve ! J/k man.....seriously, 195k miles on plug wires? Just change them and see if it helps, if not you haven't lost anything...they needed changing. Prob would not hurt to throw plugs in it too. Expensive but not hard.
If then the whining doesn't stop, I would start at the speakers/radio ground wires then.

Edit: I suggest on these trucks going back with O.E.M. plugs and wires too. There is a reason they lasted so long. It's like the brake pads on them, I've got 180k on brakes...front and rear and still going !

Back in the day , I would say you need resistor spark plugs.

From my recollection an 03 should have an amp in the center console. And another in the pass rear for the sub if there is one. Leaky cap, diode, or transistor. Cheaper just getting a used one or swapping the raduo out if you don't have on star
