Yesterday was the flush and everything was on sale (BUY) Today the sale was over and everything went up (SELL)

It’s all a game the stock market is a horrible long term investment if you don’t manage your portfolio at least to some degree. If you figure it out and set up a ROTH IRA you can make a nice little nest egg all tax free….. It will beat the 401k you’ll either never see or will be taxed to nothing to pay for all the “free money” flowing

What exactly does a point on the stock market translate to in dollars?
Really? I never invested much in stocks. I traded my way in to one solid bitcoin when they were 3k though. It was hard (and dumb) not to sell at 75k but it belongs to my kids. I'll die before it reaches maturity so maybe it'll be worth something when they have kids.

I know very little about the markets. Is their any other reason except the feds printing money and buying corporate bonds as to why we have not seen a economic situation similar to 2008?

In 2008, Treasury Secretary Paulson threatened that if Bush did not authorize a paltry $900,000,000 bail out, he would bring the the whole system down. Now we are talking currency creation sprees in the $5,000,000,000,000 range. The underlying reason for this fiscal insanity is to ultimately make conditions so bad that the peasants will be willing to accept socialism.
