Recently got some of these alexa things and "smart" things and based on their poor functionalities and abilities i have no fear of robots taking over anything....lol

Yes.

When you have Google engineers and Execs who developed it coming out against it and warning of the dangers, you should be worried. One engineer was fired for bringing up that their own AI was becoming sentient. Then one of the Execs who pioneered it quit because of fears of what it was becoming and now speaks out against AI.

Skynet is real. Saw it coming in heavy process manufacturing - paper, oil and gas, chemical, etc. People do not want to work - fine, the robots will do it. Going to be like sci-fi books soon with majority of humans living in government housing, government food, government clothes and so forth.
