We used a shotgun. We would go squirrel hunting before Christmas every year to have some to bring home.

Yep, squirrel hunting and misletoe hunting go together (squirrels first of course)
Remember it very well.......I wasn't sharp enough as a shooter to do it with iron sights and a 22, though.
Haven’t in a couple of years but have also shot a lot down with 22 over the years
Oh hell yes. 22, just suppressed now. As a kid used to sell it on the corner out of my radio flyer wagon in Athens. Should have grandsons doing that now.
Thinking about shooting a little heroin this Christmas
Pretty sure mistletoe would be a little easier on your body and your pocket.
Won't get me through Christmas though
This will be my first Christmas without out alcohol or happy meds or something in I know 30 years. If I survive I may shoot down mistletoe for everyone.
