I dont collect old rods or reels but if I saw those id be interested in having them just because they look so cool.

I got a couple Mitchell 300's I use. Even have spare spool to swap line with one of em. Those look ruff but one's in good shape are prolly 25-30 bucks.
You might as well meet at walmart one day
neat older reels. Mitchell 300 was my first. The Mitchells are a nice conversation piece but not much value on the market. good reels in their day.
yep throw them in thecorner of the man cave.
Advertise them lots of guys buy old rods to decorate man caves. They aren’t of great value to fish with.
Nice find. One of my first spinning reels was a Garcia Mitchell 300, but I don't think it had a classic round body like that one (and that was a long time ago).
In those days I used to cut the wire bail off most of my spinning reels so I didn't have to flip it open on each cast. The line pickup was still intact, so after a cast it was just a matter of using my finger to put the line back on the line pickup part. As long as you kept a somewhat tight line, that method worked well.

It's nice looking at the old reels. I have a collection of old rods and reels. Some are in excellent condition, some don't work anymore. I have a small man cave area I plan to display them in
