If colt stopped I haven’t heard of it. The c make and mpc marks on the CR’a are faint. If that’s what you are referring to

It’s not rolled but not too faint either. It’s actually spectacular!!It has a faint C marking.

Have inspected several new colt AR's lately all have this same C marking
