If colt stopped I haven’t heard of it. The c make and mpc marks on the CR’a are faint. If that’s what you are referring to

Hard to believe they have stopped stamping, or what the method is now, the C on the carrier. I do agree some are very faintly marked but to stop stamping the C is difficult for me to believe.

It’s not rolled but not too faint either. It’s actually spectacular!!

Have inspected several new colt AR's lately all have this same C marking
