Daily Driver

2005 expedition 4wd
Got it in 2018 from the origional owner with 80k on it for $3,500 cause that’s what the Buick dealer offered them trading it in on a new car

It’s got 130k on it now

The 04 expedition we had previously we got on eBay and it had 250k when we sold it
The 4 runner we had before that came from an auction, with 100k I repaired the damage and had it inspected and got the salvage title changed back to a regular title and it had 320k on it when we sold it .
My daily before that for several years was a $200 87 Mazda
And before that for 11 years was a 74 Bronco

Mrs Roundhouse’s daily for 15 years was a turbo diesel 5 speed beetle , we got for $5k from someone selling everything in 2008 to keep their house. It had 260k on it when it got wrecked last year .

Replaced it with a $7000 six speed 2010 mini Cooper turbo with 35k miles on it .

When we met in 1995 she had a 1990 Chevy Cavalier five speed .

I got set up on a blind date with a math nerd ( she was teaching calculus at a college ) who hates automatic transmissions .

It was love at first sight .

My daily is a 2021 Tahoe PPV (for work)

I rotate between a 1997 Wrangler Sport with 181k and my 2005 Ram 1500 Laramie with 180k.

Both run like new.

2010 VW I adopted 7 years ago been in the family since new, 108k on it. And a 2013 Audi with 132k on it we have had since new. Will be interesting to see how long they last so far needed nothing but oil changes and brakes the usual stuff.
