The left eye dominance usually comes from the left eye being stronger than the right. Most people that were left eye dominant will be left handed. I would have been left handed but my dad forced me to be right handed. He was a little cruel but a genius. He knew the world was built for right handed people. If I am helping someone who is opposite eye dominant to handed, I put a big smudge over their dominant eye on their shooting glasses. They can still see through the glasses but will transition to using the other eye.
