Cooking / Smoking / Grilling

I made one at work a few years ago out of a drum. Cut it in half lengthwise and had to add supports inside to keep it rigid. Should have cut out a 1/4 flap all inside the rings, will know next time. I'll try to get a pic of it.

i think im going to smoke some with a honey mustard marinade ...

Keep the sugar content low until the end of smoking. The sugar will burn and get bitter if you not careful. Baste with vinagars and oils until the end. Then hit the sugar sauces in the last hour or so. Also depends on the temp. But last 30 min you should be safe

Okay, guys let's get this thread back up and going... It is spring/summer time and great smoking/grilling/BBQ weather. Being from the South I was raised to believe that if has pig in it you should smoke it. So, being bored in the middle of the night a couple of weeks ago I decided to see what would happen if I tried smoking SPAM... well, I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, but I can say that I have done it :)

Fish cooks very fast. You'll hardly get your beer open before its ready. Forget the cigar until after the meal. Now, if you really want a good adult beverage to go with that cigar I suggest you get yourself a bottle of RED BREAST Irish Whisky. Put a liberal shot into a glass, neat, (no ice or H2O) and you're gonna be in heaven.

Any body no where any good smokers around $150-$250 are? I looked at a few at the academy in Hiram.

What about a good recipe on smoking some butts? Im new at smoking just want to try my hand at it for me and my family to enjoy.
