What kind of tips do you all suggest while contacting land owners to hunt on their land? I have a phone number and what seems to be reliable GIS information in Gwinnett county. Saw some big deer and its easily bow hunt safe.

Be honest be courteous and have money to lease the land if they say yes. You are on the right track just make the phone calls.

Get liability insurance lined up in case they ask. Even though GA law protects them, many STILL want independent coverage.

Be sure to make it a win-win for them. I have given a landowner firewood, deer meat, fish, etc. I've even built a block wall at a church for one landowner that let's me hunt his place.
