Cold and electric vehicles ……

"I tell you what; I just have to LAUGH at them crazies driving them new fangled auto-mobiles whenever they got a flat tire and go riding by in my horse drawn carriage. Everybody knows they ain't NEVER gonna have them petrol stations around. Nah, a good horse is all a man will ever need."

I don't own an EV, but if I did, I would have a charger in my garage. And then I wouldn't have to deal with the cold while charging it OR when pumping gas. And I wouldn't live in Chicago, so there's that. It was 12 degrees here in NE Georgia this morning and I saw the usual number of Teslas commuting to work.

Many people in apartments and urban areas don't have the luxury of a garage or their own charger. Hence the problem. Scalability suxs for EV's.

Also, not many people have a gas pump in their garage - but mainly because they don't need one in order to have a reliable source of energy for an ICE vehicle.
