Hello ODT. My wife and I are thinking of going up to Chestnut Mtn. DNR range and wondered if anyone has shot there? I can only see they have a 100 yard range. Are there any shorter pistol facilities? Can't pass up $5/person for the day. Just wondering what to take. Thanks!

I live about 5 minutes away from the range, you can’t beat it for $5 per person. You have to bring your own paper targets, and tape or clothes pins to hang them up. There is a pistol range as well. The range is set up at 7,15,25,50 and 100 yards.

Never mind, found it, I live near Chestnut Mountain, near Braselton, thought maybe it was close. Nope, up near Tennessee border. Dang it!
Great range
We will be driving up from Kennesaw, so long way, but for $5/person all day it'll be worth it.
