This is pure hypothetical, but would a CB radio, when used in junction with a linear amp, function normally while the Linear Amp is off? As in, would the radio still broadcast through the amp, just not receive the boost from the amp?

yes it will work as normal just not the boost

yup sure will, but in theory i would check my swr's with the amp on and with it off to make sure they dont spike, less than 2 would be preferrable
