Best .270 winchester and .300 winmag rifle

Can someone tell me which is the best hunting rifle in .270 and the best in .300 winmag for deer hunting?

I’m partial to Browning but there are a lot of good choices available.

Back country? Tree stand? Sendero? The way you plan to deer hunt makes a big difference… an idea of budget may help too.

Presuming you don’t have a specific style of hunting yet, I am a fan of the Browning Xbolt or the Tikka T3 For an all around rifle platform

I have an older ruger M77 in stainless with laminate stock in 270. While not as smooth of an action as Tikas, Rem 700, etc I have owned in the past that ruger is the fastest handling, most accurate off hand or on sticks and utterly reliable! Maybe it just fits me well or maybe I got lucky with that particular rifle but I’d take it over any other rifle for kickin through the woods and fillin the freezer.

Rem 700 go ahead and order a timmey trigger to put in it.

Tikka t3x stainless. I have the lite version in 300 win mag, and I would only recommend that for mountain hunting. That 300 win mag kick in a 6.5 pound rifle is not a fun gun to shoot even with a limbsaver, but if you do your part you only need one shot. Get the standard T3X and you’re good to go for anything anywhere!
